2708743 - Users Provisioned with IPS to Identity Authentication Cannot Log On

Symptom

The behavior of the provisioning job depends on the constant value set for $.user Type.

"constant": "public"

This means that all passwords will be written by default in the Identity Authentication. All provisioned users will therefore be able to successfully log into the SAP Cloud Platform Identity Authentication target system

"constant": "employee"

In this case, the login behavior of the provisioned users depends on whether users have been created with or without a password, and where these passwords are stored. The target transformation has to be modified accordingly in order for the users to successfully log in to the Identity Authentication console.
