2708967 - How to configure the system to ignore special characters when performing a user search?

It is desired to know how to configure the system to ignore special characters when performing a user search. E.g.: the user name contains characters like "Ø", "ł", "й", "д".

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Currently, there is not an option within the system to have the special characters ignored during the user search. The special characters should be present within the user name to match the search.

To have a different system behavior, it would be possible to have an enhancement request created for it, where the Learning Product Management team can further review and assess the requested functionality to be considered in a future release.
