2709006 - Error While Updating Tax Details for Materials Using Mass Data Maintenance

You are facing below error while updating Tax details for Material using Mass Data Maintenance :

"Missing key specification for processing node PDM_MATERIAL DEVIANT_TAX_CLASSIF
 Update not possible; existing data for DEVIANT_TAX_CLASSIFICATION not fully specified"

• Go to the Mass Data Maintenance work center
• Click on Import Materials link
• Upload the Template
• Click on Execute Data Import 

You have not filled Region field in the template. Region is part of key information (Country, Region and Tax Type) and Tax data without Region cannot be updated.

Update of tax details is possible from mass data maintenance , provided the keys(Country, Region and Tax Type) are filled completely.  The keys (Country, Region and Tax Type) are essential to identify a tax row uniquely to proceed with update.

Or

In case you cannot add Region as per your Business Use Case, use Migration Tool to upload the tax details.

1. Go to Business Configuration
2. Select overview
3. Search Migration of Materials
4. Select the link and open the migrtaion tool
5. Upload the file with details in Tax tab
6. Select Enhance already existing record
