2709041 - Long runtime when creating or saving Distribution Definition entries in /SAPAPO/CP1

Creating or saving a Distribution Definition in transaction /SAPAPO/CP1 takes an unexpectedly long time.

The delay occurs after entering the required Distribution Definition data and saving the entry. During this time, transaction /SAPAPO/CP1 may appear to be hanging or processing for an extended period before control is returned to the user.

The issue is observed on SAP SCM systems running on affected database platforms such as Oracle, MaxDB, or IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows (DB6).
