2709106 - ALTER TABLE fails with Error 12329 in post-commit with compatibility mode on - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • The ALTER TABLE command failed with Error 12329:

Error: 12329, Severity: 20, State: 2
An attempt was made to fetch logical page '3536' for database 'mydb' (56), object 'tb01' (1854678674), index 'ix01' (0), partition 'tb01_37780361' (37780361). However, page belongs to a different partition (indid '0' partitionid '1854678674') of the same object. This indicates an ASE internal error and does not indicate data corruption.
Warning: Post-commit processing for transaction (5052670,9) in database mydb did not complete.

  • Compatibility mode is enabled.
