What fields can be used to calculate Time to Hire, Time to Fill and Age of Requisition?

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Admin Center
  2. Search for "Manage Recruiting Settings"
  3. Go to the Job Requisition Section
  4. In the Time to Fill option you have two picklists: Start Date and End Date.

Resolution

We have a list of fields that available for you to use in the calculation, and those fields are fixed by the system to be used, since they have a specific type and configuration, and also, most of them are system fields, which are not fields defined in the templates, and the options are:

Approved Date Date the job was approved
Closed Date Date the job was closed
External Posting Start Date The job requisition's posting date
External Posting End Date The job requisition's posting date
Internal Posting Date The job requisition's posting date
Internal Posting End Date The job requisition's posting date
Latest Hold Removal Date

Timestamp of when the Job Requisition was last removed from an "On-Hold" state.
Job Start Date Based on the JR standard field jobStartDate
Due Date Based on the JR standard field formDueDate
Actual Start Date Based on the JR standard field actualStartDate
Application Date* Date the job application was submitted
Candidate Review Date* Date the application was first opened by a Recruiting operator
Date of Availability* Based on the Application standard field availability
Start Date* Based on the Application standard field startDate
Hired on Date*

Generated when a candidate is moved into a step with a Hired status.

  • If they are moved into a Hired status more than once, it is the most recent move.
  • The most recent Hired on Date will be maintained even if the candidate is moved out of the Hired status and into another in-progress status, such as Onboard.
  • The only time that the Hired on Date will be removed is if the candidate is moved to a Withdrawn or Disqualification status.

* - these fields are only available for Time to Hire and they cannot be configured as the parameters for Time to Fill and Age of Requisition.
