Symptom

  • ASE Error 268 reported in system log (SM21):

Database error 268 at OPC
[ASE Error SQL268][SAP][ASE ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Enterprise]You can't run SELECT INTO in this database. Please check with the Database Owner.

  • Same error can be found in dev trace file:
