2710343 - Java stack installation failed due to the message 'The installer is started with enabled database environment variables' - SAP BS on ASE

Symptom

  • When re-installing Java stack after uninstall, the following error happened and it failed to install.
    syb_dialog_dbsw_already_installed: found environment variable SYBASE
    Assertion failed: The installer is started with enabled database environment variables, which is not supported.
