2710345 - How to set up FIFO in batch determination in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition system

You want to issue batches on the basis of FIFO(first-in first-out) in an SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition system.

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. From App: Manage Classes, create a batch class with standard characteristic LOBM_LWEDT (Date of Last Goods Receipt) and assign it to the batch managed material.
2. From App: Create Sort Sequence, create a sort rule with LOBM_LWEDT ascending.
3. From App: Manage Search Strategies - for Inventory Management, create a strategy record with the above sort rule.

Please make sure that batch's classification is in status 'Released'
