2710625 - How to Translate a Report View Name

You are trying to translate a report view in the language adaptation but after collecting the texts, you cannot find the report view name or selection name.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Administrator work center.
2. Go to the Language Adaptation view.
3. Create a new Language Adaptation.
4. Click Save and Open.
5. Click Edit.
6. Select the work center Business Analytics and Analysis Work Center.
7. Select Get UI Texts and Get Analytical Report Texts. Save.
8. Click the button Collect Texts, this could take few minutes.
9. Move to the tab Report Texts. 
10. Search for the report view name you are trying to translate.

 Here you cannot find the report view or selection name you are trying to translate.

You need to select all the work centers which the report is assigned to not only Business Analytics and Analysis Work Center.

Selecting all workcenters plus all 4 text types won't scale. Such a Language Adaptation cannot work and will be out of scale! It can only be collected ('Collect Texts') asynchronously, and doing this you won't get any feedback about backend crash's, such as out-of-memory.

Please only use such language adaptations for collecting report texts and no others. Please de-select the other 3 text types and perform a synchronous 'Collect Texts' action in order to verify that the report texts really got collected.

However: reports must be assigned to a particular workcenter view to make the Language Adaptation pick it up. Just creating it in Analytics but not assigning it won't work.

Before you click the button Collect Texts, tick the box for all work Center the report is assigned to.
