2710688 - Error Copy not Allowed Source and Target System Having Different C4C Versions

Symptom

You are trying to perform a Copy Solution Profile from one tenant to another, and you are receiving the below error:

Copy not allowed; source and target system having different C4C versions.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to frontend UI.
  2. Navigate to the Service Control Work Center.
  3. Click on Copy Solution Profile.
  4. Provide the necessary details like source tenant and target tenant details.
  5. Initiate the copy.
  6. Error occurs.

Cause

The source and target tenants are in different release versions and it is not allowed to copy solution profile during the upgrade window.

For example, you are trying to copy the solution profile from your production tenant which is in 1808 version to the test tenant which is in 1811 release version. Copy solution profile from 1811 to 1808 or vice versa is not possible.

Resolution

You will have to wait till the source tenant to get upgraded to the higher release as the target tenant.
