Symptom

  • WebGUI (SAPGUI for HTML) service shows "500 SAP Internal Server Error" after a system update or refresh, displaying the following error message in the web browser:

  • In the developer traces (dev_wXX trace files), entries like these can be found:

    N *** ERROR => RSEC: Record "/HMAC_INDEP/CL_HTTP_SERVER_NET============CP" has KeyID "xxxxxxxxx_xxxxxxx_xxx_xxxxxxxxx " which does not exist in SecStoreFS [rsecxdb.c ...]
    N {root-id=...}_{conn-id=...}_1
    N RSEC: RSecDReadItemEx(/HMAC_INDEP/CL_HTTP_SERVER_NET============CP) [buffered, legacy key file shortcut] == -15. Re-trying unbuffered and without legacy key file shortcut.
    N *** ERROR => RSEC: Error code -15 occurred for identifier "/HMAC_INDEP/CL_HTTP_SERVER_NET============CP", (client independent) [rsecxdb.c ...]
    M *** ERROR => LocFunc_ReadKeyFromDB(): Error in function: 'RSecDReadItem()' (errorcode=-15) [sntxxhmac.c ...]

  • Transaction code SECSTORE shows red entries, including one for "/HMAC_INDEP/CL_HTTP_SERVER_NET============CP"
