2711336 - E_DirDep2 not Available in New Employee Step After Q3 2018 Release b1808 - Onboarding

Symptom

  • E_DirDep2 is not showing in New Employee Step for candidate
  • E_DirDep2 missing in process 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to SAP SuccessFactors HCM > Onboarding
  2. Create an Onboarding process to test and replicate behavior
  3. In New Employee Step (NES), E_DirDep2 is not showing 

Cause

  • Change of Behavior and Expected System Behavior 
  • The panel (E_DirDep2) for Direct Deposit is part of the legacy feature KMS_DirectDepositForm and a new feature was created to enable new panel for Direct Deposit with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Integration

Resolution

After 1808 release, customers are advice to enable the new Direct Deposit Panel with Employee Central, see KBA 2374889 for the instruction to turn on the feature.
