2711377 - 'No item in business transaction matches journal entry item' Message in Data Flow Verification Result

Symptom

Data Flow Verification Result XXX (here XXX represents the Data Flow Verification Result ID) shows the message:

'No item in business transaction matches journal entry item'.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Application and User Management Work center.
  2. Go to the Business Data Consistency view and then to the Data Flow Verification Result.
  3. Show All DFV results and Find DFV XXX.
  4. Go to Application log and you could see the message.

Cause

Data Flow Verification Result is raised as the Journal Entry related to the document does not show any line items until unless you click View All.

Resolution

System behaves as designed, and the Data Flow Verification Result can be closed, as follows:

  1. Go to the Application and User Management Work Center.
  2. Go to the Data Verification Result View.
  3. Show Open Results with Differences, find XXX and press Go.
  4. Click button Change Status to Closed.

Now there are no longer differences in the Data Flow Verification Result.
