2712158 - Set dsi_connector_sec_mech to "hdbuserstore" cause HANA -10910 error Open hdbuserstore key failed - SRS

Symptom

  • Issue the following command on HANA with multiple hosts:ports :
    • hdbuserstore set HANADB "host1:30015;host2:30015;host3:30015;host4:30015" MyUser MyPassWord  
          
  • To support above SAP HANA Secure User Store logins info, issue the following SRS command for that HANA connection:
    • alter connection to HANADB.HANADB set dsi_connector_sec_mech to "hdbuserstore"  
    • HANA DSI connection get suspended with:
      • Message from server: Message: -10910, State 0, Severity 5 -- '[ connection ][ HANADB ] odbcHdbConnection::Open(hdbuserstore key HANADB failed)
      • [SAP AG][LIBODBCHDB SO][HDBODBC] General error;-10910 Internal Error: Unhandled exception Interfaces/SQLDBC/impl/LocationManager.cpp.
      • ERROR #13045 DSI(181 HANADB.HANADB) - /generic/useful/cm.c(5333)
      • Failed to connect to server 'HANADB' as user 'MyUser'.
