2712174 - Error 'Please enter a postal code' While Replicating Employees to C4C

You receive the error message 'Please enter a postal code' while replicating employees from external system to C4C

SAP Cloud for Customer integration with external system

1. Go to Administrator->General Settings
2. Select the option Employee Master Data Replication
3. There is are a failed record with the error mentioned

The reason why you are getting this error is because the field "ZIP Code" is not maintained in tab "Private Contact Data". According to the settings of fine-tuning activity Countries, the postal code is required for the respective country of employee.

You have the following options

• Replicate the employee again with the postal code maintained
• Disable the postal code validation for this country

You can manage the postal code validation in fine tuning activity Countries, tab "Postal Attributes".
