2713268 - Department and Function Fields Value Do Not Copy From Contact in Associate Account And Contact Screen in Lead

When you associate a lead with an existing account and contact, when it is selected the Department and the Function value of the contact are not automatically copy in associate account and contact screen.

SAP Cloud For Customer

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Go to the Leads view
3. Open Lead id XYZ (XYZ represents lead id)
4. Click on Action
5. Select Associate Account and Contact
6. Select a similar account and contact from the duplicate results

When you select the account from the duplicate results, some of the information is copied but not the department and function values of the contact.

This is a limitation during the Associate/convert account and contact a lead, department and function information are not updated from contact.

SAP have provided the correction since 1902 release to copy value of department and function from contact.
