2713388 - No Correct Account Determination Group available for selection in Service Item Purchase Order

Unable to select the Account Determination Group applicable for the Service in account assignment tab while creating a Purchase order for the Service 'ABC'.

'ABC' refers to Service ID.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center.
2. Select new Purchase Orders and fill in the required details.
3. Select the service item and try to update the Account Determination Group for it under Account Assignment tab and under G/L Accounts view.

But unable to find the Account Determination Group responsible for the Service 'ABC'.

It's not required to maintain the G/L Account when the cost center under the account assignment type has been maintained already.

While posting the follow up documents like Goods and Service Receipt, system uses the Service and its master data.

To check the Account Determination Group and settings, follow the below mentioned steps.

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Overview sub view.
3. Search for the activity Charts of Accounts, Financial Reporting Structures, Account Determination.
4. Under the Account Determination, go to the Costs.
5. Navigate to the Services.
6. If the GL Accounts under Credit for internal services, Debit for internal services, Expenses for External services is maintained, then system considers the GL Accounts maintained under these settings and picks it for the accounting posting.
