2713824 - No change records available in change document for employee

A new employee is hired, but no records are found under Changes tab of Personnel file.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Personnel Administration work center
2. Select Employees view
3. Search for the new hire
4. Click on Edit and navigate to Changes tab

Then there is no value in the Attributes field and if you click on Go to execute the query, No records found.

Creation of employee data at the time of hiring is not tracked in change document. Any changes (create/modify/delete) to core Employee data after initial hire will be recorded in the change document.

The system is working as expected. If no changes were done to core Employee data after initial hire, there is no change record available in change document for this employee.
