2713952 - BI Servers taking time to start and schedules remaining in pending state

Symptom

  • On startup of the Server Intelligence Agent (SIA) it can be seen in Central Management Console (CMC) -> Servers that some servers remain in starting state. After a period of time - the servers will go straight into started state. The servers are taking a long time to start.

  • In Instance Manager, or the history of a scheduled job, it can be seen that many schedules remain in pending state, and stay there for a long time before they go into running state.
