2714097 - Application error when editing or loading Biographical Information

• Error occurs when People Profile loads Biographical Information or when editing Biographical Information.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

The system is looking for one or more of the following countries' pre-delivered picklists for the Region of Birth field but is unable to find it:

• France
• Italy
• Chile
• Brazil
• Venezuela

If you are facing such error during people profile loading, follow solution 1. If you are facing error during manage pending hire, follow solution 2.

Solution 1: Make sure that the following picklists are configured:

• France - DEPARTMENT_FRA
• Italy - PROVINCE_ITA
• Chile - REGION_CHL
• Brazil - STATE_BRA
• Venezuela - REGION_VEN

The latest standard master picklists file can be downloaded here.

Note: You do not need to add these picklists in Manage Business Configuration. The system has a hard-coded logic that uses these picklists whenever the country of birth is one of the countries listed above.

Solution 2: Please check all data dictonary field which is type picklist and used in mapping in onboarding data dictonary. If you have done any code based mapping, make sure you select picklist. If it is empty, you will face this error.
