  2. Go to the Master Data view.
  3. Go to the My Banks subview.
  4. Find the relevant Bank ID.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Select Bank Accounts.
  7. Enter the relevant details.
  8. Click Save.
The following error messages are displayed:
    'Save failed'
'Instance with the same key already exists'
'Combination of Bank Account XX for Company ABC exists'

Cause

In some cases, you can hold several Bank Accounts at the same Bank that use the same Bank Account Number.
For example, your Company may make a large number of foreign currency transactions and thus, use several different Bank Accounts (each processing a different Currency) with the same Bank Account Number.

However when creating the new Bank Account you are using the same Bank Account ID and Currency as an already exisiting Bank Account, therefore the System is advising that the new Bank Account already exists.

Resolution

When creating the new Bank Account (using an already existing Bank Account Number) you need to enter a different Bank Account ID and Currency.
