2714465 - How to Use Language Adaptation to Adapt theThing Inspector (TI)

Symptom

The following KBA will use Accounts thing inspector as a reference, this document also applies for other objects you wish to translate.

You are Trying to adapt the Accounts name inside the Customer TI, however, you are not able to find in the Language Adaptation text pool ID.

Environment

Resolution

  1. Go to Administrator work center.
  2. Under General Settings click on Language Adaptation.
  3. Click on New.
  4. Fill the mandatory fields.
  5. Save and Open.
  6. Select the work center Customer.
  7. Check the checkbox Get UI Texts and Get Code Texts.
  8. Click on Collect Texts.
  9. Go to UI Texts facet.
  10. In the ID collum search for the ID 6d78ba4a44ee4825b05ae0b8f3c8692b.
  11. Translate the required fields.
  12. Save.
  13. After performing the steps the TI should be translated.
