2715092 - Custom field does not propagate according rule - Employee Central

You have created an OnChange rule on BCUI in order to propagate a custom field based on a change of any field and you have noticed that after employee performs a change in employee profile the field is not getting populated.

After that if you check the rule trace you can see that the values are being set.

SAP SuccessFactors - Employee Central

1. Go to target employee
2. Change Location field (in order to propagate the custom field)
3. Save

Missing permission for employee that is performing the changes.

The employee must have permission to see the field that is being populated when performing the change, if does not have the permission the field will not be changed in UI.

Grant permission for employee to see or edit the field via Manage Permission Roles in Effective Dated Entities.
