Resolution

With 1811 release, fields such as isTemporary and temporary-id are added in National Id portlet to support flagging of temporary IDs. Note, however that the additional fields will only support replication to Employee Central Payroll but not for ERP HCM.

In the national ID portlet, the following fields are available for all countries:

Depending on the country selected, the corresponding national ID card type is displayed in this field, for example:

To use the Temporary ID content in the National ID portlet you need to make the following changes:

  1. Make the field "National ID" non-mandatory. To change it, go to Manage Business Configuration, choose the HRIS element nationalIdCard and change the mandatory entry to No.
  2. The field “Temporary ID Available” can be set to “Yes” or “No”:
Yes: National-ID will become inactive and customer will be able to enter a Temporary ID in the corresponding field “Temporary ID”.
No: National-ID remains active with all known data validations. You must enter a value in the field "National ID".
  3. The field “Temporary ID” – In this field the admin user can enter the Temporary ID for the employee. The admin user should enter the Temporary ID with the requested format. There is no validation on data entered in this field.
Example: Social Security Number (for USA) NNN-NN-NNNN (999-99-9999).
