Symptom

What is the setting within the EPMXLClientPreference.xml file that relates to the "Switch online automatically" option under the menu 'User Options' -> Others within the EPM tab?

  • The Switch online automatically option when checked (set to TRUE) will cause the EPM Add-in report to be set to Online mode when opened even if it was in Offline mode when saved.
  • If the workbook should be left offline when opened, the Switch online automatically option should be unchecked (set to FALSE).
