Symptom

  • SUB character exists within the data that is a text file Data Services is reading.
  • Error: "(W) (3868:11012) FIL-080102: |Data flow <df_name> |Reader <source> End of file was found without reading a complete row for file <Path and file name>. The expected number of columns was <##> while the number of columns actually read was <##>. Check the input file for errors or verify the schema specification for the file format. The number of rows processed was <#####>.
  • Control character within the data - HEX value 1A
  • Unprintable characters.
  • Custom file transfer being used in SAP Applications Data store
