Symptom
We are trying to add localization to specific references but there is no option to do so, is this expected or a bug?
Environment
- SAP SUCCESSFACTORS LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS) all versions
- Admin interface
- References
Reproducing the Issue
- In the Admin interface navigate to References > Learning
- search for delivery type
- Open it in edit mode
- there is no globe icon to select to enter a localized value
- Navigate to item type ID > search and open any
- The values can be localized
Cause
This is the current system design and not all values can be localized at this point in time.
Resolution
Please review this enhancement which is requesting the ability to import references with locale values via the import tool. You could support it and comment that all references should be available for localization.
At the time of writing this article, there is no enhancement specifically requesting all references to be made available for localization. Therefore we advise that you search on the Influence portal before submitting one, in case there is one that you can support.
Product management will consider enhancement requests for development once they receive 10 votes.
