2717365 - "failed to create view on calculation scenario" error happened when running a query against a calculation view.

Symptom

  • An SQL against a script calculation view returned the error below.

SQL message: column store error: [2030] failed to create view on calculation scenario.

  • In the HANA Indexserver trace you may see an error message like the following:

 cs_ddl CreateCalculationView..... (t -1): create and lock of assignment data both failed. View might already exist.
