2717969 - Error message "Technical Error IPPM 057; report an incident" Appears when trying to Change the Validity of Production Model

You are trying to change the validity of the Production Model DEF (DEF refers to Production Model id),Error appears

Technical error IPPM 057;report an incident
Save could not be executed

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Planning and Production Master Data work center
2. Go to the Production Models view
3. Select Production model DEF
4. Select Edit
5. Change the  Date value in Field Valid to
6. Select Save

Error message appears

Error is occurring as the corresponding  Product Specification  KLM (KLM refers to Product specification id) associated with Production Model DEF has been set to obsolete.

Change the status of the  Product Specification KLM back to Released Status and then try to change the validity of the Production Model DEF.
