2718529 - sp_cacheconfig not working properly after upgrading the server - SAP ASE

sp_cacheconfig "default data cache", "1024M"

This increased the size of the default data cache from 4MB to 512MB – no errors.
sp_helpcache showed:
Cache    Name               Config Size      Run Size       Overhead
------------------ ------------- ---------- ----------
default    data cache      512.00 Mb       512.00 Mb    164.19 Mb

Tried the same command again:

sp_cacheconfig "default data cache", "1024M"

and from sp_helpcache
Cache    Name               Config Size      Run Size       Overhead
------------------ ------------- ---------- ----------
default    data cache      512.00 Mb       512.00 Mb    164.19 Mb

Then when I rebooted the ASE server and ran

sp_helpcache:
Cache    Name               Config Size      Run Size       Overhead
------------------ ------------- ---------- ----------
default    data cache      512.00 Mb       512.00 Mb    164.19 Mb

The same results happen, even when more memory is added to the server.

No errors just wrong results.
