2718655 - HANA client installation failed due to "Cannot install Microsoft C/C++ Runtime" error

Symptom

When installing SAP HANA client software in Windows server you see the following error messages:

11:16:22.601 - ERR : Cannot install
11:16:22.599 - ERR : Cannot install Microsoft C/C++ Runtime
11:16:22.584 - INFO: Starting external program C:\Users\333956\Desktop\software temp\SAP_HANA_CLIENT\SAP_HANA_CLIENT\client
