Symptom

  • Jobs are hanging in a non final status
  • Problem 1
    • Errors: Exception while calling BAPI_XBP_JOB_CHILDREN_GET: 104: Time limit exceeded.
    • Exception: (104) RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: Time limit exceeded.
    • Could not get an RFC connection in 600000 ms#
  • Problem 2:
    • Remote shortdump: TIME_OUT in system <system ID>
    • ST22 with TIME_OUT dump
