Before opening an case with Product Support:

• Has the configuration changed, recently?
  • Was it working before the recent changes?
  • Can the recent change be un-done so re-testing can be performed?
• Can the issue be reproduced for just 1 or multiple admins?
  • If the issue is reproducible for all it is still likely to be a permissions issue.
  • If it seems to be related to 1 or a small admin population - the next step is to check and verify the permissions are correctly granted.
• Is the rule correct? (Ensure that any recent configuration changes you have made have not caused any rule corruptions).

How To

When you are creating the Off Cycle Event Batch object there are some important fields that need to be configured:

The BizX Daily Rule Processing Batch job is now renamed to:  Off Cycle Event Batch Processing Job.

For the Filter field, you can filter all the configured date fields for both standard and custom fields in Business Configuration for the selected base object in the Off Cycle Event Batch. Note: Country-specific custom date fields are not supported for filtering in off-cycle event batches. 

The filter lists all the active date fields for jobInfo (Job Information base object) and employmentInfo (Employment Detail base object). The type of HRIS Field should be Date and enabled Yes in the Business Configuration. Additionally the filter also lists fields that are preconfigured for jobInfo (Job Information base object) and employmentInfo (EmploymentDetail base object) that don’t need to be configured in Business Configuration.

FAQ - Additional Information

Q) Does Off Cycle job support workflow feature?

A) The Off Cycle job does not support the workflow feature. It happens because the Off Cycle objective is to automatically update Job Information, Employment Details, Employee Time or Work Order portlet without user intervention, so it is not possible to add a workflow in the process (since workflows usually requires approvers. here

Q) BizXDailyRuleProcessingBatch is missing provisioning?

A) The BizX Daily Rule Processing Batch job is now renamed to:  Off Cycle Event Batch Processing Job.

Note:The  Off Cycle Event Batch Processing Job were removed from Provisioning but can be configured in Scheduled Job Manager. Just make sure that the user has access to "Monitor Scheduled Jobs" permission in RBP to be able to create/modify this type of job. Q)Which permission must be grant to administrator

A) This action is supported in Scheduled Job Manager for the selected job type.

  • Admin Center Permissions  Monitor Scheduled Jobs
  • Admin Center Permissions  Manage Scheduled Jobs
