2719107 - R3load failed with (DFH) WARNING: (TOC) Missing "eof:" entry

Symptom

The R3load based system copy (import or export) using Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM) tool (SAP Note 1680045) is failing.
In the export packages logs (/<sapinst_instdir>/SAP<TABART>.log like SAPAPPL1.log) the following WARNING appears:

[SAP<TABART>.log]:
(DFH) WARNING: Syntax error in TOC file: (TOC) Syntax error l.8 '<dump directory>ABAP/DATA/SAP<TABART>.TOC'
(DFH) WARNING: (TOC) Missing "eof:" entry

This warning means that the affected SAP<TABART>.TOC file is corrupt on OS level.
