2719147 - Difference between Matrix Grid filter selection options

A Matrix Grid filter appears with a dropdown for value selection, while another may appear with a popup for value selection.

1. Go to Succession > Matrix Grid Reports (Performance-Potential or How vs What);
2. You may notice a difference in the filter value selection icon:

3. Expand a filter (e.g. Division), a dropdown list is displayed for selection:

4. Expanding other filters (example: Department), popup box is displayed for selection:

If the number of values for the filter is below 100, it will display as the dropdown selection option. While if the filter exceeds 100 values, it will display as the popup selection option.

NOTE: Users may see a different number of dropdown options or different selection as the dropdown options are dynamically generated based on the users which are within the users succession target population.

This is the expected system behavior, as per the current system design and there is currently no way in which this can be changed as it is hardcoded in the system.

NOTE: The Matrix Grid report is not designed for use with large numbers of items. So if you are using a filter such as "Department", and you have several thousand departments, you may experience performance slowness. If you are experiencing this, try reducing the number of filters/items.
