Symptom

When updating replicated material in C4C via the service interface MaterialReplicationIn, a message fails in the Web Service Message Monitor with the error message: 'Error determining current data for process node: BO PDM_MATERIAL, BO node SALES_PROCESS_INFO'.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the 'Products' work center.
  2. Open the 'Product Administration' view.
  3. Find and open the affected product.
  4. Click on the 'Actions' button and then choose 'Block'.
  5. Send a message to C4C using the MaterialReplicationIn service interface which sets the product to active and updates the SalesProcessInformation node.

Cause

Currently C4C cannot handle the scenario where a blocked material is activated and has values from the SalesProcessInformation node updated simultaneously.

Resolution

  1. Open the 'Products' work center.
  2. Open the 'Product Administration' view.
  3. Find and open the affected product.
  4. Click on the 'Actions' button and then choose 'Activate'.
  5. Restart the failed message via the Web Service Message Monitor.
