2719902 - Application Error when saving Russian string

Symptom

You are adding a Russian text into a string field in Job Information and when saving you are getting an application error with the following fingerprints: 7275ac83f80ba655c20c83220d942a2e0b558064 or c5efb41410caa3225f2a8dbbaed7369a1eb25b71

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) - All Versions

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Select any employee;
  2. Go to Job History
  3. Edit a string field and add a russian string;
  4. Get the application error;

Cause

This is a Bug affecting only Oracle customers

Resolution

By the start of 2019 all the customer should already have been migrated to HANA hence this issue should be fixed automatically
