2720188 - Error TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED in CL_RSR_CACHE_STORE_DB (WebI/QPROV)

Symptom

In BW backend in transaction ST22 a memory dump can be observed:

"TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED"
"CL_RSR_CACHE_STORE_DB=========CP" bzw. CL_RSR_CACHE_STORE_DB=========CM009
"__READ_BLOB_DATA"

This can be caused by different scenarios/activities requesting larger datasets then on screen reporting:

  • Running a Webi Report (Scheduling) returns an error message referring to a memory problem in the BW backend.
  • Extracting data with a DTP from a datasource of type 'Query as InfoProvider' is failing with this memory dump.
