2721222 - Private Data for Proxy Account Holder

Some line managers will require the appointment of delegates from within or outside their organisation unit to manage certain transactions on their behalf. This will avoid delays in authorising data items which have a downstream impact and ensure the smooth running of the system and its workflows. However, it is important that delegates do not see the line manager’s details.

Proxy as an employee and go to their profile > see that all details are visible.

Since B1802 release we have the option to restrict visibility of some information via the "Private Data for Proxy Account holder" option. ONLY available for Employee Central customers.

• Switch Turn On: On EC PP3 instance, go to Proxy Management, Grant Proxy Rights, check "Employee Central V2 + Employee Profile" – "Private Data For Proxy Account Holder" , Proxy user can see blocks with private data for the proxy account holder
• Switch Turn Off: If the checkbox is unchecked. Proxy user cannot see blocks with private data for the proxy account holder.
