2721874 - file_copy function does not recoginze the target folder as a folder when using UNC paths

Symptom

  • The file_copy function does not successfully copy a file to a target UNC path (i.e. \\localhost\user) even though the path exists
  • Cannot copy file <source_file>. Additional information: <Wildcard in source file name, target must be a vaild directory.>.
  • using local paths (i.e. C:\Desktop) as a target works as expected
