2722343 - No Product List Available to Add in the Survey

Symptom

You are trying to add the product list ABC (ABC represents the product list ID) in the product survey XYZ (XYZ represents the survey ID), but it is not available for selection in the survey.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Surveys work center.
  2. Go to the Surveys view.
  3. Open the survey XYZ.
  4. Go to the Products facet.
  5. In the Product Lists section, click on 'Add'.
  6. Open the value help for product list.
  7. The product list ABC is not available.

Cause

Surveys only allow to add product lists that are flagged as valid for all accounts. The product list is not valid for all accounts.

Resolution

This is the standard behavior of the system.

If you still want to go with survey consumption for restricted accounts then it is advisable to create product lists for different product list categories and further add the required product list categories in the survey.
