2722507 - Loading a database after upgrade hangs with no messages in the log - SAP ASE

Symptom

After upgrading from ASE 16 GA to the latest SP.  The backupserver is giving errors and not loading databases.

The only messages in the backserver log that looks different is:

load database mydb from "/my/location/mydb/mydb_FULL.dump"
Backup Server: 3.62.2.1: Backup Server does not define this trace flag: 1502

It then hangs there until the process is killed.  When looking at the backup server log it show the old version for the backupserver:

Backup Server/16.0/EBF 22383/P/Linux AMD Opteron/Enterprise Linux/asecepheus/4465/64-bit/OPT/Sun Feb 16 09:46:23 2014

However, the ASE log shows:

Adaptive Server Enterprise/16.0 SP03 PL05 HF1/EBF 28622 SMP/P/x86_64/SLES 11.1/ase160sp03pl05x/3463/64-bit/FBO/Thu Sep 13 09:24:26 2018
