2722658 - Decimal fields mapped from the Position to the Job Requisition are being rounded - Recruiting Management

Symptom

The Decimal fields in the Position in EC mapped to the Job Requisition in RCM, percent field gets rounded. Why is this is happening?

  • Job Requisition;

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In the Position Org Chart, you see that the field has two decimal places:

  2. But after creating the Job Requisition, you access it an see that the field has only one decimal place and it is rounded:

Cause

This is caused because the field in the Job Requsition is set as type Percent:

Resolution

This is an Expected Behavior of the system, as you can see in the Implementation Guide, section Job Requisition Standard Field Types Guide, you can see that the type Percent is: A percent value with only one decimal place.
