Symptom
This article may cover a few scenarios:
- Candidate deletes profile on external career site or profile is deleted by recruiter and the candidate Profile is anonymized but the application remains in the system
- Application anonymization flag equals to "Marked for anonymization by candidate delete/Marked for anonymization by administrator delete all command"
- The current application is in a disqualification status
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a candidate profile and apply for a requisition
- Recruiter moves the application to a disqualification status
- As a candidate, delete your profile on the external career site
- Confirm candidate profile was anonymized (via scheduled job in provisioning)
- Confirm application was not anonymized and remains "Marked for anonymization..."
Cause
Before the b2311 release, it was expected behavior that the application would not be anonymized alongside the candidate profile because the application was already moved to a disqualification status by the recruiter. The application was already dispositioned and would not be moved to the status - "Deleted on Demand by Candidate"/"Deleted on Demand by Admin".
From the b2311 release, the "Delete Candidate" feature has been renamed as "Anonymize Candidate Profiles" and there is now an option on this page called "Anonymize Disqualified Applications for Anonymized Candidates" where you can anonymize applications in disqualified statuses for candidates that have already been anonymized.
Resolution
To resolve this, please follow steps below:
- Admin Center>Anonymize Candidate Profiles
- Anonymize Disqualified Applications for Anonymized Candidates>Enter the candidate ID of the anonymized candidate
- Click OK
- Run the RCM Entity Anonymization job
- Application will be anonymized
