2723251 - BR1055E when adding data file | SAP Knowledge Base Article

Symptom

When adding data file with BRSPACE, you get the following error:

BR1055E Database file /oracle/<SID>/sapdata<SID>/<SID>/datafile/x08.data75 must be located in a subdirectory of 'sapdata<n>' directory
BR0280I BRSPACE time stamp: 2018-11-21 15:35:42
BR0669I Cannot continue due to previous warnings or errors - you can go back and repeat the last action
BR0671I Enter 'b[ack]' to go back, 's[top]' to abort:
