2724025 - Error:SAP Cloud for Customer, server-side integration for Microsoft Outlook is not supported for this user

Symptom

The key user is attempting to remotely install the plugin for a specific user in Microsoft Exchange. An error occurs "Error: SAP Cloud for Customer, server-side integration for Microsoft Outlook is not supported for this user"

Environment

SAP Cloud For Customer

Reproducing the Issue

1. Login to system.

2. Navigate to E-mail Integration work center.

3. Navigate to Groupware settings

4. Navigate to Users tab and try to install add-in for provisioned user.

5. Error is observed.

Cause

Key user attempting to install server-side integration web add-in to an unsupported version of Exchange.

Resolution

Below are the Supported Micrcosoft exchange servers for server-side integration in SAP Cloud for Customer.

  1. Microsoft Exchange 2013 or above
  2. Microsoft Office 365
  3. Outlook-rich clients
  • Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac
  • Outlook Web App

  • Outlook Web App for devices or mobile browsers (requires Microsoft Exchange 2013 or above)

    4.   Synchronization also supports Microsoft Exchange 2010.
