2725368 - Record Regularization Of Time Sheet In Time Sheet UI

Symptom

Record reguralization for each day i.e. if only 6 hours are recorded (when the work schedule is configured for 8 hours) a custom field should record 2 hours.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Sheet

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Work Schedule is configured with 8 hours per day.
  2. When employee records only 6 hours for a particular day in time sheet, a cusotm field should capture the difference of 2 hours.

Resolution

  1. Create a custom field in the Employee Time Sheet Entry object (say ‘Regularization’).
  2. Add an on Save rule in the ‘Employee Time Sheet Entry’ object to fill this custom field(Shown below).

Then once the duration is entered- > Save Draft/Submit the Regularization field will be filled with the difference in number of hours entered with that of the work Schedule (In this screenshot it’s 8 hours per day).
