Restrict employees from editing the duration in the time sheet UI.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Sheet

• The time sheet entries are imported into the system(via Extenral Time Data).
• When employee navigates to the Time Sheet UI, he/she can view the imported recorded hours but they should not be allowed to edit the same.

• Option 1: Set the time type as No for Enabled in employee self-service scenario
1. Navigate to the Time Profile assigned to the employee.
2. In the Time profile, set the ‘Enabled in Employee Self Service Scenario’ to ‘No’ for the attendance time types.
   
3. Now the imported entries for the time type 'Business Travel' will not be editable in time sheet UI.
   This will actually make it impossible for employees to create or change existing entry of this time type totally, not only the imported entries.
• Option 2: Make sure the Correction Scenario is set to External System to prevent editing from TMS UI. This requires Time Tracking license.

Similar approach works for both imported time data and allowance.
