Symptom

  • Creating an object link in a Portfolio Item or Initiative, either directly or by entering the target object ID, fails with the error message: "Communication error with source system of object type ... occurred."
  • Alternatively, creating an object link in a Portfolio Item or Initiative via the search function provides no results.
